If you ever visit our bluegrass club, you’ll find it’s mostly boys
There’s pickin and singin, carryin on, a high level of noise
Well I’ve got a friend named Glenda, she loves to pick and sing
She started up a ladies jam, she’s got quite the following
You’ll see her now at festivals and campgrounds near and far
She gathers the women together, sits down with her guitar
If I’ve heard prettier harmony, I don’t know where or when
She often has a special guest, does just fine without us men
chorus
Oh I, got kicked out, by the Bluegrass Queen, no less
They said I could have stayed if I’d put on that sequined dress
Miss Rhonda, I love you gal, but I just can’t do it
I’ll just see myself out now, let you girls, get back to it
The sign said Ladies Only, no men allowed in this jam
Glenda was the host, she said stop by, I answered, yes mam
I popped my head in the door, said howdy, on behalf of the club
Rhonda smiled at me, then called me out, said, You don’t belong here Bub!
